Beautiful campground, great location. There is road noise but you don't notice it when you're on the beach. Camp hosts very friendly and helpful.

Love this place! Visited the campground 27 years ago during our trip around Lake Superior and to my memory it is still the gem we remember. We will soon return before another two decades pass!

We stayed here in a trailer. Not all sites are suitable for a RV or trailer. Probably more tents than RVs during our stay. Good privacy between sites. Easy access to Lake Michigan is a huge Plus.

Perfect one night stop location on our way to Pictured rocks! Had our own path to the beach with the most gorgeous sunset. Host was super nice on top of it too! Definitely recommend this campground for the UP!

The campsite was clean, and a perfect location for our weekend at the beach. The site was protected from wind and storms and still close to the beach for sunrise, sunsets and swimming! The campground was very quiet and clean. We will definitely be back!

Stayed at site 9 for 2 nights. Great site for small to mid-sized tent (ours was 10x8 and fit perfect). A larger tent would be tricky to get on the site. Short walk down to the beach and not too steep. Bathrooms were clean. 100% would stay here again. For the most part the sites have some privacy between them in the form of woods. Convenient spot as it is less than 20 minutes away from St. Iggy. Stayed in mid July and no bugs!

Hard rain and dense fog, swarms of mosquitoes for our entire stay. Under better conditions it would be nice to have a Lakefront site.We did have good T Mobile cell service.

I camped in site 9, which is a beachside site. I tent camp so I was able to set up away from the campground road and have a little extra privacy. I had an amazing time, and I really loved it out here. I truly did not want to leave. The site had really good coverage and a trail to the beach, which is a little steep due to erosion. It is primitive, so no electricity, which was ideal for me. Pit toilets, too. And there is road noise, since its right next to the highway, but it really didnt bother me that much. I could still hear the waves, so if youre in a beachside site youll deal less with road noise. The hosts were very nice as well and it was beautiful weather, aside from a little thunderstorm that passed through. The site was also raked and looked absolutely perfect when I arrived! From here youre not far from St Ignace(from where you can take a ferry to mackinac island) or Sault Ste Marie. Mackinac Island is a must see when youre in the area. You can also take the Mighty Mac bridge and head to Mackinaw City, which I did not do. Maybe next time.
