There is no running water bathrooms. They were not clean and not even hand sanitizer. Very gross.

We love this campground and have been staying here for years. It is always clean and well maintained. The lake side sites are a gem. Unfortunately between the mayflies, blackflies and mosquitoes we cut our time short. It was unbearable for us both at our site and the beach. We must of hit it at the wrong time of year. We will continue to come back though!

Great camp site! Very clean upon arrival. As always, firewood is overpriced, but that’s a drop in the bucket for the experience. Road noise is a little much, but it’s also expected being so close to a major artery of the UP. Caution for the mice- took one home in our beach bag- quite the circus driving down the road when he came out of the bag!!

Love this campground. The perfect amount of rustic and the campground host is very friendly, knowledgeable, and does an excellent job keeping the place clean!

This gorgeous campground is tucked between Lake Michigan (with lovely dunes and sandy beach) and the ultra-busy Highway 2. So it beautiful and perfect for enjoying the water and beach, but once you are back at your site, you hear the fairly constant rumble of trucks and cars whizzing past. If you don't mind sleeping with that sound, or if you are using a camper with good noise insulation, then it should be fine. If you are sensitive to sound or camping in a tent (like we were), you may find the highway noise bothersome. Overall, it is a great spot with large sites and well maintained pit toilets. Perfect for enjoying the beach, and often used as a stop-over or launching spot for other adventures. Closest store (has everything but closes at 6pm!) and restaurant (White Tail Restaurant) are both 4 miles away in Brevort. Firewood ($7) and ice ($2.50) are available from the helpful camp hosts. No shower, no electrical.

We didn't realize, and the web-site didn't show, that the sites are 2 level. Our 19 foot trailer barely fit in the spot near the road and then there were at least 20 steps up to where the picnic table and fire pit were.

An absolutely lovely camping experience. It's right on the lake, which makes it really wonderful during the summer months. It's a very short drive to St. Ignace, which we took to both golf, eat, and shop. I will say, though, that they need to remeasure their sites to update the reservation website. We reserved what we thought was a 40 foot site, only to find out that it was only 20 feet! We managed to cram our camper in at an angle, and park the truck further down the road, but, could have easily been a MAJOR problem. Camp host said "yeah, they have some of those wrong". But, well worth the time camping there. Large sand dune between us and the lake, but, easy walk. Not impressed with many of the sites near the road, as the highway is literally right next door. Road noise and headlights were a problem for folks on that side. But, the Lake side? Magnificent spots. Camp ground very clean and well kept. No electrical sites nor shower facilities (you have to travel some miles for that), but, worked out okay for a short stay. My opinion is that you should have some electrical sites in all camp grounds, though, so, biased. This campground is well worth the stay for a couple of days.
