If you go camping late summer without a camp host theres no quiet time enforcement. Its the one percent that makes it worst for the rest of us.

Love this place. Would book again any day if we could get a reservation. Trash wasnt picked up the entire time we were there and it was overflowing into the street from day 1. I dont know why it was closed for so long and is in worse shape than 5 years ago. Either way its rustic and on the lake wish there were 10 more just like it. Weekend booking rules make it hard to plan a trip for a week. We always have to change sites 3 times to stay a week and half the sites are reserved and NO ONE IS THERE. The entire UP is booked and no one shows!

We have been camping here, on several occasions for the past 40 years. Though the number of tent campers has decreased dramatically, it still is a "rustic campsite". Mature trees provide privacy, and each site has a fire pit, a pole to hang tent gear, and ample space to place a large tent. Pit toilets are kept clean. The host does his best to enforce quiet time starting at 10pm. The use of generators running during the daytime to "power up" everyone's 'glamping needs' can be annoying, but that is not the fault of the campsite host. I do however, wish people could "do without" their power needs at a rustic campsite.

Did the scenic loop up to Whitefish bay and Down through The Falls, MI DOGS, and Oswalds Bear Range. Nice park. Close to the Soo Locks too

Nice large sites, lots of uninhabited beach to explore with the dogs. Bathrooms immaculate, water sources close and dependable. Fire Wood available, and for September had one cooler night but on the whole weather was great. Enjoyed trails close to the park as well, Fall colors made it even better. Will be going back.

Friendly Hosts, enjoyed finding out about the area, especially some of the attractions and basic needs like shopping & laundry.
Most site are very private. Our next visit, we will choose a site on the the lake side of the loop. Caution though as some of the lake sites can be a challenge to bring an RV or Trailer into.

BEAUTIFUL location and beach. Loved the large sites, separation, and number of trees. Definitely will return!!!

It was our first tine ever here at Bay Biew and I can tell you this, it will NOT be four last. What an incredible experience for our Family. We drove into Newberry to have breakfast at Zeller’s & they make and sell this Cinnamon Roll that is called the “Beast” and it is exactly that, a “Beast” & it is an Awesome Cinnamon Toll. It’s the size of half of a THICK CAKE! Go check them out sometime. Also went to Train Museum right in Brimley. You want to know the History on Brimley, the museum tells it pretty much.

This was my second time here. The bay is pretty calm compared to other parts of Lake Superior. The sunsets are always great.
Traffic on the road can be fairly loud due to the narrow space for road side camp sites. The lakeside sites are much larger. Ample firewood on the premises. The camp hosts were great, bathrooms clean, and sites were raked and tidy. One of my favorite campgrounds in the UP.
