Quiet remote campground. Big clean sites. Monocle Lake loop hike to cliff overlook was amazing. Not an easy hike due to elevation and switch backs but the view of monocle lake, Lake Superior and the freighters on a cloudless day was incredible.

The Lake Superior shoreline is of course the first and best part of your visit. Next would be local businesses where fresh Lake Superior White Fish are cooked up after that nights fishing. Enjoy ice cream and fresh brewed coffee nearby as well. And finally other local attractions like a lighthouse will fill your day.

The hosts Val and Ron are THE best! They are welcoming, courteous, efficient and effective at taking care of the campground and guests. They recognize returning and new guests with equal amounts of courtesy and welcome and what could be better than a rustic spacious campground on the sandy south shore of Lake Superior!

Bay View never disappoints. The parks had trimmed many of the dead branches last summer. The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. The pit toilets were kept spotless. Spent lots of time watching the waves and night skies. We love early camping because the park is quiet. We will return.

Always a great place to stay; new hosts were great (last year's were great too). Lots of places to go within driving distance, Sault St. Marie, casinos, Taquemenon Falls and just driving the back roads looking at color.

Campsite was clean and ready when we arrived. Camp Hosts were terrific the entire time we were camping. Bathrooms were always clean, even in the rain. We do think some campsites need more boulders to prevent people driving up the small hills destroying what grass or vegetation that is there. This is a great "little" campground.

Site 20 was large and beautiful so much space in between our site and our neighbours. Very well kept site and had incredible views of Lake Superior. The beach was lovely and sandy so easy to walk on and dig your toes into. Weather was great, no bugs which is a bonus since I get bit up typically. Was right in between the bathroom and water spicket.Vault Bathrooms were the cleanest we have ever been in. Only 24 sites, everyone very respectful and quiet. Location offered a great breeze at night perfect sleeping weather. Camp hosts Kathy and her husband were the nicest camp hosts we have ever dealt with and we are avid campers!! So kind, helpful and accommodating. We cannot wait to go back!!
