Element is a beautiful campground. it is a bit spread out so there is privacy and one hears the creek. I liked the fact that the bathroom didn't have the bright lights, so you can still see the stars at night!

Bathrooms could use a little more love, otherwise everything was great. The annual jeep invasion was a little intense lol

It was very nice, camp was very peaceful, shaded, and out of the way. Kids were back in school, it was late in the season, very few campers, it was fun.

Park Rangers are the best! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I love that they keep the environment natural and clean. My advice to others is prep your food wisely so you don’t attract bears. Also study your map because you will not have cell phone service available.

Not my first time to camp at Elkmont......yet my best experience! Beautiful, serene, and clean-even though the campground was full. Was greeted and helped by probably one of the kindest Rangers ever in my 60 years of visiting national parks! Love Elkmont! TN GAL :)

Excellent Family Campground. Kids loved riding bikes on the paved roads near their campsite. Plenty of places to float the river in tubes, occasional black bear sightings, synchronous fireflies worth the trip, weather is mild and comfortable. Loved the thunderstorms!
