The facilities were always clean. All of the workers were helpful and friendly.

We stayed in M6, which is a great site for a tent. While it's right by the creek, there is bank that is about 10', but there are a few places nearby to climb down to the creek and further down to the river. Plenty of bugs in the bathrooms, but it's the woods so expect it.

The sites were amazing! Loved being right by the water. The campground was well-kept and staff were friendly. Only issue would be not having the showers or flush toilets. Also, there should be signs for the potable water. We found it, but it was slightly difficult.

Elkmont is our favorite campground anywhere! There really are not any bad camp sites, at least for car/tent camping. The sound of running water all night is soothing to the soul. We visit Daisytown and hike along the Little River every time. The staff are professional and the little store convenient for wood, ice, and last minute items.

We first visited elkmont in the summer of 2019 and immediately made reservations to return. The creek is so fun to play in and the tent spots are shady and nice.
