We love staying in the L-N loop primarily because it is generator free zoned and is much quieter auto traffic-wise. However, this past trip in M03 was very much bothersome due to the Appalachian Clubhouse event on Monday night. The clubhouse is directly across Jake's Creek from M03. There was an event Sunday night, but the distracting music was not too terribly loud. Monday night was a different story: Loud music, to the point we could hear the lyrics to songs even above the creek water noise, which is delightful. The music was played at an unreasonable noise level until around 10:45PM and not what you would want to hear in a National Park setting at that hour of the day. We were offended by the loud music very disappointed. I'd like to offer a suggestion: Restrict the renters of Clubhouse from amplified music. String instruments only, which would be in theme historically with Daisy Town and Appalachian Clubhouse's original uses. Or, at the very least, insert notification in reservation system advising Loop L-N that these sites are in proximity to an event space and potentially may be a source for amplified music.

Loved camping at Elkmont. There were lots of trees, the sites were clean, and it was a great experience. Even the temporary port-a-potties were kept clean and maintained almost daily. The river and streams that run throughout the campground make gor restful sounds. Keep your food, coolers, scented candles, and water in your vehicles when not eating. They enforce this to protect you & the bears!??

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
