The campground was well maintained, the restrooms were very clean, and the campground was not crowded. The only downside was that we were too late to see the leaves changing.

What a wonderful campground! We could not have been happier, beautiful surroundings, great amenities and friendly staff. Beware that with an RV, the road to the campsite is definitely a bit tight but well worth the white knuckles. Can't wait to get back there!!!

Lots of shade. Beautiful river runs throughout campground. Black bears are occasionally seen nearby. The Synchronous fireflies were amazing. It was warm at night, and made tent camping enjoyable.

The campgrounds were clean and well maintained. Check in was easy. Wish the camp store had been open

We love staying at Elkmont. I was a little apprehensive about the porta potty situation but they were very clean. Almost cleaner than your bathrooms... lol. As always our stay there is exactly what we need to get away and recharge.
