The people there were beyond friendly and the spots were really spacious. We were right on the river in November and there was tons of good wood to forage for a fire so we didn't even have to buy wood! Bathrooms were super clean as well.

The campground is well taken care of and the site we stayed at (F-03) is amazing! The site is very spacious, with a large tent pad and a gradual walk down to the river. The bathroom is close by as well as the bear proof trash cans.

We loved our campsite on the stream. Weather was rainy and cold most of our ten days. However we have been coming to the Smokies in the spring for decades and we know there is rain! Sad that the bathroom nearest our site was closed. A bit of a trek to an open one. Not sure if that had to do with the fact that it is a national park and so much funding has been cut. So very sad for such a treasure.

Only complaint is the grass/weeds need cutting. Hopefully with the money received from parking permits will allow enough for landscaping

Beautiful campground. Only downfall was no cell service and they told us that we couldn't use the firewood we brought in. The river and forest were amazing though and I would go back in a heartbeat. It was full but didn't feel crowded.

Absolutely beautiful! We had a spot on the water and there’s nothing like waking up to that sound! The portapoties were a pain, but they did notify us of that before we booked so I can’t complain.

Beautiful campground on a beautiful section of stream! We had two different sites during our stay and both were nice. The second site on the water was one of the nicest at the campground. Facilities were clean and well kept, despite the plumbing work going on and need for port o potties. Nice places to walk and hike right near the site and centrally located to most of the parks main attractions. We'll be back!
