Nice campground and campsites. Bathrooms well maintained. You have to strategically plan your activities in the park otherwise you will spend hours sitting in traffic or searching for parking spaces. Since there is no cell service in the park you cant see the traffic delays on your cell phone.

Easy booking process online. Great email communication before arrival. Quick check in with knowledgeable staff. Beautiful camping area and campsites! Clean restrooms. Near the river and trails. Quiet hours are enforced.

We really enjoyed our experience at Elkmont. We were in site C10 with a 21 foot travel trailer and truck. We had plenty of room and the site was fairly level. Most of the sites are near the restrooms. The sites are laid out well and it didn't feel we were right on top of other campers.

My favorite campground is elkmont, hands down. I love that place and go every year in the fall and usually a trip in the spring

Campground was quiet. Campsite C10 is one of the best on this side of Little River. Just be aware of the many pot holes in the campground roads.

We loved the feeling of nature all around us. We were troubled to find the water fill spigot was out of commission when we got to the visitors center. Seemed like poor communication.

We had an incredible experience at Elkmont. It was our first time to this campground. We loved how the campsites were spread out. We loved the nearby hikes and the ranger talk on Daisy Village. Most sites were reasonable flat for our Rv. It was nice to visit the Tennessee side of the park. The Great Smokies is our favorite national park!

This campground is beautiful. It was my husband favorite for the area. We had the restrooms so close that was very comfortable.

Great hiking and wildflowers. Have been coming here since 1993, usually 2 to 3 times a year, along with Smokemont, Cades Cove, and Cataloochee.

Nice park. Couldnt really enjoy it. Rained the whole time. Also had tornados around us. Nice clean bathrooms and laundry. We would love to come back when the weather is nicer.

The campground is nestled in a wonderful and beautiful areas of the GSM. While the campground does not have electricity, water or sewer hookups on-site, there are plenty of restroom facilities with running water (no showers). The beauty of the campground make-up for the lack of what I call luxury conveniences. The visitor center 6 miles away has both a fresh water fill-up and dump station.

I do think they need to cut the grass around and on the sites as the grass is just too tall and weedy.

First visit to Elkmont. We made the reservation last minute so we really didnt get to pick the best spot. Bathrooms were very clean and everyone was very nice. Our particular pad didnt have any trees close to set up our hammocks and would have been better for an RV camper. Overall, definitely will return!
