This site is so user friendly, and getting into the campground, checked in and out, and using the facilities were super easy and problem-free! Highly recommended!

The camp ground is well organized and the creek is a great way to cool off. Good access to trails and really close to Dollywood.

Campground and bathrooms were clean. Campground hosts were very informative, and warned everyone of potential storms. Also came around to check on everyone after the minor earthquake on May 10th! Only complaint is that the lights in the bathrooms are extremely bright - either the bulbs need to be replaced with dimmer ones or a film put on the windows. Felt sorry for the campers that were closer to the bathrooms than us.

Only issue we had was being awoken to the sound of repetitive gunshots at 7am on a Monday. We were concerned so packed up and left. On the way out, we asked a ranger about the gunshots and after a joke, he said there was a shooting range nearby. his sequence of events at this time of day does not seem right at all. Too bad.

The campground was busy but not overly full considering the time of year (end of June). Campsite B23 offered a little more privacy than some of the other campsites which was an added plus for us. Campground store had lots of basic supplies, including selling firewood and ice. The firewood was nice and dry, but a bit expensive for what you get.

My favorite campground and my favorite camp site, but the bathrooms need more attention. One water source outside one bathroom did not have water. All the bathrooms were not adequately cleaned. Spider webs and spiders all over. The bathrooms could use some sturdy hooks. All the bathrooms could be updated (like Rocky Mt. NP). I still like the place.

Campground volunteers are truly good people. Although I didnt need assistance from Search and Rescue I know that they were available when needed. Remember, most are volunteers who deserve our gratitude. Thank you! JH

we bought wood had a nice fire. Liked my isolated campsite. Although no showers was happy to see plumbing for toilets and sinks. I thought there would be vault toilets. Nice and quiet

We had a walk-in site (24) that really wasn't a walk at all. The campground was quiet and peaceful and lovely.

Beautiful campground with lots of space between sites, lush trees and bushes. We had a walk-in tent site and it was great, enough shade from the trees and a nice pad for the tent. Perfect scenery along the river. The only thing I was missing in Elkmont were showers, even cold outdoor showers would have been appreciated but there were only toilets. Bring your supply and food because there are no stores in the park (except souvenir shop at the Visitor Center), so for anything (even coffee in the morning) you must drive outside of the NP. The Campground only provides a vending machine for softdrink and ice and you can buy firewood there.

Our site was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location for hiking and checking out the nearby attractions.

The vending machines were mostly non functional and the firewood wend from $5 a bundle last year to just under $10 a bundle.

Still gets top marks from me.

The restrooms were closed but otherwise had a pleasant stay. The walk-to site provided added privacy as it wasn’t quite so close to the other campers.

No camp store; contract hold-up as I understand it. Grass cutting was overdue, they mowed for half a day once.
Septic issues ongoing.

I got this walk-to site because it was the last site available - and it was so great that in the future I will choose walk-to sites if I can. The sites on either side of me felt so far away, and it was a short walk from the road, it was really private and quiet. I just wish that in the campground there was access to the river without feeling like you're intruding on someone's camp site maybe I just didn't know where to go. The nearby nature walk was super easy and short maybe good for families.
