Great location in the Smokies! Wild turkeys visited our campsite every morning.

Loved it. Clean, quiet, spacious campsites. Plenty of areas to enjoy walking, and with our dogs. So dog friendly! Would definitely return again.

We did not stay the night due to storms and heavy rain. Always love Elkmont

I've camped here a number of times because I like to camp in winter and unfortunately they close so many campgrounds before it really even gets cold. It is nice enough, but not my favorite in the park. It is a bit crowded and some of the sites are better than others but none of them are amazing or terrible. I had a very nice experience there this last time and plan to come again.

We absolutely loved this area! The staff and rangers were beyond helpful and very nice people. The campgrounds were clean and pretty decent sizes. We will definitely be back again!

Great campground. A river runs through it! Several great hikes start right at the campground, including to the Appalachian Club and nearby historical houses, many of which are being restored. Plan 3 or 4 days.

We had an excellent stay. Frustrated that the previous campers left debris around the site (more than Ive ever picked up from campers before). It was a great opportunity to teach the kids about being good stewards to the environment. We had read from some recent reviews the bathrooms might not be what they usually are, but we only found that to be true on our very first day. Every day after both mens and womens were what you normally expect.
