Such a beautiful setting. Having showers in the bath house would have made this a perfect spot. Hearing and seeing the cascading river behind our campsite was wonderful.

This campground is simply amazing! Good location surrouded by beautiful forest and creek, functioning facilities and close to town to buy grocery. I will visit again.

Great spot! Nice view of the river, can only barely hear the generators in the loop 2 sites over during the day (they are off at night). Would camp at this site again!

The staff was very informative and friendly. The first night there the host came around to warn everyone of a bad storm coming in. There's no cell service there, so I appreciated the heads up. Bathroom was stocked and clean. Campground is clean and well maintained. The firewood is expensive at $9.83 per bundle. It's ridiculous.

Elkmont is my favorite camping area in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is always so clean and well kept and the rangers have always been incredibly helpful

Loved staying at Elkmont Campground ! We stayed right next to the water which was beautiful visually and audibly ! Best spot for hiking the Alum Cave Trail in my opinion. Beautiful scenic drive into and out of the campground . Definitely a must stay !

we stayed the camp for 4 days and enjoyed the surroundings. However, it will be a great improvement if the site can build a shower place.

Really enjoyed the hike along the river (about 5 miles round trip) and had an excellent campsite. The river bath without soap was refreshing before bed. The bathrooms were pretty nice (compared to porta potties during covid).

It's low on amenities but it has terrific riverside sites. My site was excellent. It would have been too small for a family. The sites can vary quite a bit in size. Most of the sites are well shaded. There is a small camp store that has firewood, ice, and a few other necessities. They also have ice cream. The firewood is expensive. I understand the reason for not bringing our own wood in. It just annoys me that when they changed the policy the price of wood pretty much doubled. Anyway, the bathrooms are flush toilets. They are not the cleanest, but I've seen worse. The lady that works in the camp store is very nice and helpful. The location is great because everything is within 20-30 minutes. Good access to trails.

B9 is a beautiful, shaded riverside site. It was a great base for exploring other areas of the park. I enjoyed hiking , visiting Cades Cove, and just relaxing and soaking in the beauty at this site at the end of the day. Elkmont is busy but always had a peaceful vibe. The lady at the camp store was very friendly and helpful.

We had a spot on the river and it was an amazing experience. The wood was a bit pricey but we will be back.

This campsite was great! It was right next to the river and was great white noise for sleeping. The camp store was a plus for the fire wood.

Have camped at Elkmont 50+ weeks over the years and except for when the sewage system was inoperable it has always been our most enjoyable trip of the year. I have the Appalachian Club house reserved for a birthday party this fall. We love this area greatly

I had a tent site by the river. It was wonderful. Staff was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Elkmont is a beautiful campground and convenient to Gatlinburg as well as a lovely scenic drive to Townsend. Bathrooms were well maintained.

So we decided to come camping for our first time ever and it just happened to snow the entire time. It was absolutely beautiful at the campground, it looked like a winter wonderland. Our tent was just 5 feet from the river and the noise from the fast flowing water was music to our ears. We will make this our new permanent get away!

This is a beautiful campground. Our campsite was along the beautiful Little River and the view was excellent as was the sound of the water. We were i tents and the ground had been perfectly leveled. The spaces are fairly close together but the neighbors were quiet. For the number of people the campground was amazingly quiet. You cannot bring your own wood and a bundle is a bit pricy at $10, but the wood was good and the fire a nice touch. The check in was a bit delayed as people were asking questions of the attendant. It would be helpful to have an express line for those who pre-registered, but that is not a big problem.

Beautiful campground with a river running right next to some sites. Good amenities and camp store.

Our stay was such a magical experience. We slept right next to the river with the sound of it rushing past all night. There were friendly neighbors camping next to us enjoying the rainy afternoon. We were close to a restroom and trash bin making it very convenient. It was a very quick drive to town with shops and restaurants to explore. Still thinking of our stay and hoping to return in the future!

We had a nice campsite next to the water. The campground was what we expected, the onsite store had a good supply of necessities that could be forgotten. There was live music at the store the evening we stayed there. Hiked to LeConte shelter the next day. It would really be nice if the bathrooms offered a shower. I would stay at Elkmont again.

Beautiful campground nestled in the heart of the smoky mountains. Would love to return someday
