A beautiful place. Helpful and friendly park employees. A very accommodating concessionaire. Appreciate the flush toilets and grey water dish cleaning sinks. Appreciate the fact that it is not overly modernized with a lot of lights and concrete rv pads. I am surprised that there arent bear boxes available for all campers.

Nice campground with beautiful sites on the river. Good space between the sites. Campground hosts were very welcoming. She was very helpful when we were trying to find a shelter in Cades Cove for breakfast. I had camped at this campground many years ago and it was just as I remembered it. That is unusual in this day and age.

Such an excellent campground! Friendly staff, super clean and quiet, and site B5 was one of the most perfect campsites Ive stayed at in literally hundreds of sites in 48 states of this countryliterally THAT GREAT!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this place!!!!

This was a really sweet spot right on the river and the beautiful smoky mountains. Staff were all friendly and helpful and we only ran into amazing people as a tier campers. About 20 minutes to Dollywood and close to gatlinburg but an oasis away from it all!

Beautiful site location (B5). We did end up leaving early due to a storm which caused a fairly significant tree branch to fall on our campground. Our canopy broke the fall thankfully. We were refunded for one of the two nights we didn't end up staying. Enjoyed our stay before the storm hit though and will be back!!

Campground is amazing. Bathrooms were never cleaned and smelled pretty horrific. Host was very unapproachable.

Beautiful campground, very hard to go wrong on a spot.
+ Clean restrooms
+ Small shop with the essentials open during the day with vending at all hours.
+ Fireword is available at all hours as well
- No showers here or anywhere else within the park. After a long hike by day three, I had to tap out and get a motel room for a shower.

We booked our reservation may 5th and 6th. Drive thru spot overlooking the lake (water and electric),not next to the lake those were taken.Several walkin sites available. It was a cool and cloudy day with quite a bit of chop,so we decided not to kayak that day. Instead hiked a nearby trail (part of the foothills trail) at bad creek access to the river 11 miles. Then saturday was smoother water and paddled 11 miles to the boatin campsites to check them out .Definitely my favorite Lake in South Carolina. Reserve early as the best spots are snatched up quickly.

Great base camp for fly fishing in GSMNP. Good access to Tennessee waters of the park. Also good hiking trails and lots of local history.

Great place to see amazing fireflies and play in the cool waters of the Little River. Also a good base for nearby destinations. Camp was clean and well maintained.

We went in March so not as full as usual, yet the sites were great. We had one close to the river and it was wonderful. Beautiful and serene.

We stayed in campsite B5, it was a gorgeous site right on the water and within walking distance to the store. Elkmont is one of the most beautiful campsites that I've been to. I will be back!

This was such an amazing campground. It was pretty quite and I loved have a spot next to the river. It was much needed to be able to unplug and enjoy the sounds of nature. We will definitely be going back.
