Awesome experience. My husband and I tent camped for 4 days. We loved it . Everyone was welcoming. We met a handful of people that we shared many heartfelt conversations with. Great place.

A beautiful area of the Smokies, a very pleasant campground with historic restored summer cabins, a hiking trail along a rushing mountain river, a convenient camp store, and fair to ok bathrooms. A nice place to ride bicycles a little ways. Some of the campsites are more scenic and private than others, some are kind of close together. No cell service.

My partner and I stayed at B04. It was beautiful!! In between a creek and a small river which added to the beauty, but also the lower temperatures. The only small con was that in order for other campers to get to B02 and B03, they had to walk through our area. However it didn't matter much because we would all be out and about during the day! Elkmont is a great spot for travelling around the park, we will definitely be back.

B4 was a beautiful and convenient tent camping spot! Just a heads up, the creek can be loud.

The mens toilet overflowed and the smell was potent. Its a crowded site with lots of people and not much in ways of quiet or enjoying nature. People had to constantly walk by my site to get to theres and that wasnt something that I cared for.

Positive Experience. Rangers were very helpful and polite. Campground and trails were very clean. Ghost town was exciting.

B4 is a pretty site; however, the pad needs some filler and leveling. It rained quite hard while I was there, and a large puddle formed at the front of the pad. I had my tent far enough back so that the puddle did not swamp the tent, but it was not great having the puddle right outside the entrance.

No firewood for sale. But everyone was nice and everything was very clean.
