Such a beautiful campground! It was amazing having the river run through the sites.

Our second stay in Elkmont and it did not disappoint. Recent heavy rains meant the river was full and surprisngly loud. The camp was also full and during active hours there were many children on bikes and smoky fires. But the nights were quiet and the rest rooms were clean. The best part about staying at Elkmont is access to the hiking trails - Little River, Cucumber Gap, Jakes's Creek - all wonderful.

The service was adequate and polite but could have been friendlier. And every day or so someone from our family bumped into a rule. I read the rules carefully that were sent to me online, but the printed rules (which we did not receive until we asked for them after two days) contained restrictions not mentioned in the online info.

This campground is very nice. The spaces are large and far enough apart that you don't feel on top of the next site. There are several hiking trails very close and an old vacation town right up the road that is open for visiting. The bathrooms are very clean and in good condition. While we were there, the water spigots by the bathrooms were off, but we were able to fill up our water jugs with a spout behind the firewood/concession store. Overall very pleased. Easy drive to visitors center, Cades Cove, and other trails.

Stayed October 20-22. Clean, quiet campground near a small stream. Very pretty, and close to Gatlinburg, as well as a ton of trails in the park!

It rained most of the time I was here, but it was a beautiful campsite, the bathrooms were clean and by morning the rain had stopped and I had a lovely hike to the falls.

We come here every May and were never disappointed. Campsites are well maintained and bathrooms are cleaned daily.

Great campground! We camped for three nights with four kids 3-6. They had such a great time, despite the cold weather! Played and played in the little creek and just overall had a lovely time. Kids watched some rangers doing research and then pretended to do research of their own the rest of the trip. Only complaint was the unexpected cold, which is no ones fault!

Firewood was too expensive, and it was unfortunate that the bathrooms were down, but other than that only positive things to say about the campground. Check in was easy! The campground was conveniently located in the park were it was too far of a drive to reach the places we wanted to go to during the day! It was a great experience for us!

Felt secluded, staff and rangers were cool and the sound of the river makes sleep easy

Add showers and stop price gouging on the wood/ice and it'll be perfect

All the rangers were so sweet, our space was clean, accessible and big. The missing star is because the restrooms were closed and didn’t like much the portables.

This was a very beautiful campground with nice, private sites. I loved the sound of rushing water as the background noise to fall asleep to. Would highly recommend staying here!

Very clean and friendly campground. Bathrooms are even located close to the "primitive" camp sites. Lots to explore in the area.
