It was fine. I really liked how many trees there were and how there was dedicated place to set up your tent. Unfortunately, I was hoping to feel a little more in the woods. In reality, there were lots of other people and cars around and it was hard to feel like you were getting away from it all.

The service was very nice! There is a little store where you can buy firewood, lighter and marshmallows. We had a lot of fun sitting by the bonfire at the evening and looking and the stars.

Fantastic time! It was so easy to check in, and find our camping place. Staff was great too. I'll be back!

Very friendly staff. Clean and level tent campsites. Clean bathroom facilities. There is a river running through camp that you can hear anywhere in camp. The historic area of the campground was fun to visit. It is on the Tennessee side of GSMNP and close to Cades Cove, Gatlinburg, and the Roaring Fork Motor Trail.

Somewhat primitive campground. camping areas for tents were good as were the driveways for cars/RVs. Restroom facilities were on the limited side of things (porta-potties vs real restrooms). Still a nice area.

Wastewater Treatment Plant was under renovation which meant the bath houses were closed. Temporary toilets and wash stations were provided. Wonder why this work wasn't done in the off season.
