Mtn. Laurel was still in bloom and a couple other wildflowers so got some nice floral pictures. It was a bit too hazy at the overlook that day for good photos of the mountains.

We got some nice pictures of wildlife right from the backside of our site which is all wooded. Deer, Turkey, and a Bear and her two cubs. One turkey walked right into our site and wandered around for a bit. I was talking to it, like I had a pet turkey, haha.

All in all we enjoyed our trip but won't return on Father's Day weekend when the campground is so crowded and noisy.

Great experience all-around. One suggestion to offer, would be to provide signage to better direct/orient campers to various trailheads. Loved the campground's beauty and facilities.

We loved our first visit to Cosby Campground. It is just beautiful and the folks responsible for protecting this special place take their job very seriously and Im so glad. All the other campers were quiet, respectful and thoughtful neighbors. A wonderful experience.

The campground is beautifully located and well maintained. The staff was helpful and available. We greatly enjoyed our hikes out from the campground each day and unwinding by the campfire at night. We tent camped, but there are RV sites sprinkled evenly throughout the campground. They will run their generators during the 8:00 am to 8:00 pm allowed timeframe. The one close to us in 75B was super loud. My wish is that generators would have to be rated quieter than what we experienced or not used at all. It put a damper on our experience for sure.

The campground was beautiful and very quiet. Compared to other np in the Smokies, the sites are more private, and I love that it is mostly tent sites. It is wonderful not having to listen to generators running on the large rvs. It is remote, and I liked not having a large, touristy town nearby. It is a great place for hiking and enjoying nature.
