The campsite is right next to the bathroom and the group campsites so I would not recommend. Luckily the campground was very empty so we moved to the next one over and it was perfect! Would recommend this campsite to anyone. Close to some really nice hikes and very quiet. There were a family of bears that were walking around the different sites but never felt threatened and always kept the food in the car unless cooking/eating.

We camped at site B45. It is right next to the bathhouse which was super convenient. We were also close to the nature trail that was great for the kids in our group. We were able to hike the overlook trail even though it was raining. There was plenty of canopy cover that kept us dry. I would also highly recommend stopping by the Cosby Run store, the owners are so unbelievably kind!

Lovely campground with shade covered sites. Facilities were always clean and the staff were courteous and helpful. A convenient location for access to multiple trail heads including the beautiful Mount Cammerer Lookout Tower. I have camped here twice and plan to visit the Cosby Campground again.

Lovely campground with shade covered sites. Facilities were always clean and the staff were courteous and helpful. A convenient location for access to multiple trail heads including the beautiful Mount Cammerer Lookout Tower. I have camped here twice and plan to visit the Cosby Campground again.

The Cosby Campground went beyond our expectations. The campground itself is clearly well taken care of. The bathrooms were much cleaner than the average campground bathrooms. The check-in and check-out process were very simple and were contactless. There are also some hiking trails that go through the campground. We took one of them, Low Gap Trail, which leads to the top of Mount Cammerer. Its definitely worth the views if you enjoy hiking! Overall we had a wonderful experience.

Nice campground, well maintained. Near many trails, not near town. Hard to judge campsite from website.
