This place is VERY quiet. Almost too quiet. It might have been because it was the fall and there were less bugs/noises at night, but it was eerily silent when it got dark. Which on one hand is a great thing, but on the other it sucked. My girlfriend and I seemed to be the only ones having a fire at 8:30 PM even though the place was completely packed. We felt like we were disturbing everyone because we were simply speaking to each other (quiet hours at 10). After getting into the tent and trying to go to bed, you could hear EVERYTHING that people were doing and I mean from over 50 yards away. People unzipping their tents, getting in/out of cars, and walking to the bathroom. We had to wear ear plugs because it was so silent you heard every little noise. I would absolutely go here again though, don't get me wrong. But if you want to have a fire and talk to your s/o or maybe hang out with some friends, I wouldn't come here. Again, it might be completely different with more night noises in the background, so I can't speak to this place during the rest of the year. But this place seems to be for the absolute silent types, which might be right up your alley! No showers by the way and they are very strict about keeping your food in the car and using only heat treated wood (which I both completely agree with!). All in all it was a really pretty place and very secluded. No one goes here unless they want aggressive hikes.

We really enjoyed our stay! There were great hiking options within the campground and it was close the arts and crafts shopping area. This campground is quiet and away from the busyness of Gatlinburg. It would be nice if the individual campsites were a little further from each other. Overall, we were pleased with this campground.

Great Place - beautiful scenery, nice campsites (each fire pit includes a built in grill - something i couldn't find on the website.) Everyone was friendly - and campsites are far enough apart that you don't intrude on your neighbors!

The system set up for late check in worked great. Pick your number and find your site. We enjoyed our stay even though we werent at the campsite a lot because we were out exploring some hikes and biking trails. The campsite was well maintained and the bathrooms were very clean. Tent pads were an added benefit and it was like a little stage for the tent. I enjoyed that there was a sink to wash dishes. Our campsite was right by the bathrooms and it was also an end site. B loop site 21 was the way to go! We will be back for sure next year! You dont get service at your site but you do right at the sign when you pull into the campground so you dont have to worry to much about that. It was easy to navigate.
