Cosby is a large remote campground. There were some RV's but mostly tenters. No generators that I heard. Limited local services; expensive firewood; no cell service for 3 miles. That said, the tulip trees are spectacular. This older CG is full of them. Site A-19 is one of the better ones in the entire CG. Most of the sites are close together with little privacy. This one has 2 sides private. There is a cutoff trail that goes thru the site. So expect the occasional rude person strutting through the middle. There is a small family cemetery 100ft beyond the site. So, don't go here on Halloween. :-)

Wish we would've stayed here longer! Amazing campground, very quiet and spacious.

Myself and my daughter and son were ready for an early night by time we’d arrived after hiking 20 Mile Ranger Station the two days before. We had plans for early start to Mt Cammerer. At 10:30 pm, after we’d fallen asleep, two cars and seven people pulled up to camp site next to ours and headlights and flashlights and getting on was like middle of day they built a big fire and set up three tents. They carried on well last 12:30 am. Was our bad luck they reserved this spot at last minute apparently. Plenty of open spots t/o campground and none taken next to us when we reserved. So, just a good ex of what can deal with at campground despite the guidelines. They packed up early and left trash all around site. They weren’t camping so much as just partying and blowing through. Not an issue of campground, right? In fact, I’m reserving again for June. Campground is nice and great hiking all around.

Wasn't a very good map & thought campsite was by a creek. Other than that it was nice

Lovely campsite, sites are very spacious. Stayed at A19 and almost couldn’t see other sites.

The camp site was great, really a beautiful campground. The bathrooms are not very clean however and need more regular service.
