Overall it was a great campground...They had bathroom and showers plus a nice pad for tent campers...The trails at the park were wonderful and took up most of my day....

Great campground. clean, quiet, Great hosts. PAY ATTENTION TO SIGNAGE! DONT GO PAST CAMPGROUND ROAD TURN .

Quiet, well maintained sites. Super friendly staff. We saw turkeys roaming through the campsite mornings and evenings. We had a class C 25 foot RV and the site was paved and fairly level. Easy to navigate. Did not visit bathhouse. No hookups, but well worth the sacrifice for the environment. We only stayed overnight on 2 occasions but would love to visit again for a longer stay. As in a lot of National Parks, cell service is non-existent so make sure your reservations are downloaded to your phone or printed in case you arrive late. Take care with GPS directions. Ours led us down roads that were too small for RV travel to the campsite. There are good state roads available.

It was a very nice stay between a long drive from NC to AL. The adjacent nature trail was great even for young children.

We had problems figuring out which sites were appropriate and available for our RV.

Absolutely love this campground! Lots of day hikes, much quieter than Elkmont or Cades Cove! Was a bit disappointed that the ranger presence was minimal!

Very beautiful campground. Primarily a tent campground but several RV spots. Very nice and primitive. No hookups, but potable water and a restroom is available. Good place to see the peaceful side of the smokies. A lot of hiking trails and many people day hike and park in front of the campground.

We really enjoyed hiking to Hen Wallow Falls from the trailhead right in the campground. It was very family friendly. Such a beautiful area! We also drove to a nearby hike and loved seeing the cantilevered barn and beautiful creek.

We reserved a camping space online and when we arrived, it was not a tent site. It would be helpful to update the website to let campers know. Also, we didn't know that copperheads,rattlesnakes and bears were on high alert for this particular campground. We didn't find out until we arrived. Would've been nice knowing through the website before we picked this campground.
