Beautiful campground. Visited in October and had almost the whole loop to ourselves. Bathrooms were clean but no soap. Park rangers were extremely kind and helpful. Lots of trails. No reception.

For those looking for a quiet camping experience in a beautiful woodland, this is a great campground. I was surprised and pleased that there was running water here.

Campsites were small and had two levels. [ picnic table was on a different height) Very difficult for someone with physical limitations. There were multiple people running generators which might have been perfectly within rules [ have no idea) but definitely not something we are in to. Was in the lower 40s so maybe it was just the weather circumstances.

Beautiful area. We camped in our tiny Runaway camper in August and despite no electricity here, it was quite comfortable without running our AC. Had a shower in our own portable shower, it was cold but do-able. Overall, happy to have stayed here without any frills, beautiful National Park. I would definitely come back. Campsites in other nearby places are really pricey so this non-frills one right in the park suited us just fine. And we saw fireflies once the sun went down, beautiful! A hot shower would have made this 5 stars but not a deal breaker.

If youre looking for a get away from it all, camping experience Cosby is the way to go. Small campground but well taken care of. The camp host and Karson, one of the park rangers were wonderful. Town is very small, but the people there are very nice. Will definitely go camping here again.

The campsite quiet in a beautiful woodland setting. The camphost was friendly and informative. The restrooms were clean. The location near the Foothills Parkway was convenient for sunrise/sunset views.

There is a nice hike to a waterfall called Hen Wallow Falls, the trailhead starts between campsites 22 and 64.We noticed that the RV dump was locked
Cosby Campground is a beautiful place to stay. The trails nearby are also very beautiful and filled with wildflowers! We camped in our travel trailer for 6 nights. It was very pleasant however site A23 was a bit too short and up against a hill so we were not able to enjoy time outside our camper. Next time we will stay at a different site.

The sites are very small and close to each other. I was camping next to a large group that had several campsites on all sides of me. They were very loud. This was not the experience one travels to a National Park for camping and enjoying nature. I wish the Rangers would have reeled their behavior in a little. They even reserved the site next to me (very close) only to use it as a "game-site", with kids and adults running and yelling back and forth through my site.

At peak season, it felt like we had the campground to ourselves. Outside of the busier areas, we had half the loop to ourselves.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
