We stayed in the generator loop for the first time. Everything was perfect, even the weather! 10 days!

Nice campground near convenient campstore that closes at 5 pm sharp. They sell acceptable firewood (not cheap) and ice. Restrooms were clean, but no showers. Sites are nice, paved, with nice tent pads. We had some bear activity, so definitely follow the bear protocols regarding food storage and garbage. My only complaint is that since there are no electrical hookups, you have to listen to peoples' generators. The camper's generator right next to us was loud and extremely annoying. Don't expect peace and quiet till everybody shuts their generators off around bed time.

Very nice campground. Due to the amount of trees some sites are difficult to back into if the trailer is 30' or longer but with some trial and error most are easily accessible.

We loved our visit to Cades Cove Campground. It was nice to be so close to the Cades Cove Loop. We drove the loop everyday and enjoyed it each time! We loved the camp store too, but it would be nice to have showers in the restrooms.

We had a great time and did many side trips out of the cove. The only negative comment I have is that the Park Policy is very selective about enforcing the generator hours. In some cases they would ask folks to turn off generators and did it with an attitude and then would not be around in the AM when folks were starting generator one hour before the allowed time and would not be around most evening and folks kept them past the time. In most cases other campers were respectful of the hours so it is not a huge problem.

We stayed in B35. Nice partly sunny /partly shady site. Very close to neighbors on the right. Luckily for us, the were quiet and friendly. It’s a generator loop, but most were quiet by 8pm. It has a great camp store and wonderful ice cream. The bath houses were clean. It was so awesome to be close to the loop. We rode it multiple times at different times of day. And we got to ride our bikes in Wednesday. It’s close to Townsend and we went in to town a few times. Much less congested that Gatlinburg. Would definitely stay again, but try to get a spot that’s a little more private

National Park so we understand the bathrooms may be old and you have to carry your potable water a ways. We chose to camp in the park versus a privately owned RV place.
