There should be more fresh water hookups at the dump station, the bathrooms need to be fixed/ updated.

Our family loved camping at this beautiful campground! The obvious main draw is the proximity to the 11-mile loop through Cades Cove, but there is much more to enjoy: Abrams Creek flowing right alongside the campground, the hiking trails, the unconcerned neighborhood bears going about their business, and the fireflies in the evenings all made for a very memorable stay.

Campsite was great. Level and clean parking spot with plenty of space. Bath house was fair at best which caused only 3 stars. Dump station was clean and easy to access. Rangers were very nice.

Had a great camping experience in the Cove, very nice campsites, helpful staff, and campsite maintenance has improved, campsites are good size. Many things to see and do in the area. Always enjoy viewing the wildlife in the Cove.

We have visited Cades Cove several times with our rv in the past and most recently with our truck camper pulling an enclosed cargo trailer with our licensed and tagged golf cart. Since there is no cell service, we were grateful for the wifi at the amphitheater; not to mention the great waffle ice cream cones at the Campground Store. Everyone friendly and helpful. We went during the day with of gold cart and wasn't sure it would make the full 11 mile loop with the traffic, so we turned off at the 7 mile mark. Later that evening we went, virtually no traffic, made the whole loop and enjoyed it very much. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful time, of course we missed going around the loop. We have about 3 things we would love to point out. The big trucks coming up the mountain at a higher rate of speed than is allowed. They take their side plus part of ours. To me it was scary and dangerous. The park personnel, workers out of office personnel, are rude have no concerns about seeing wildlife outside of zoos. I hope I am not Seeing the last of a park where you can only ride a bus around the loop with only a short stop to buy gifts. The first time I came to the mountains was as a 5 year old in 1945. My final complaint. The park sites are never full. You can never get a reservation during the week but practicality is the sites are open and never have visitors in them. This goes for A B C. The reservation people are most helpful that I have seen at any government sponsored program. Thay are 100 % for people enjoying the park. To me it seems that Elkmont is on its way out. With the old cabins being updated as a show place for them.

What a wonderful place to visit. I was last here as a teen. Pitching a tent. Well fast forward and I know have a Class C camper. It was new and I didn't know how to work the generator. What a mess. The wonderful staff at the bike shop allowed me to google what I was doing wrong. Still couldn't figure it out until I left but they were so helpful. The weather was quite warm 95 degrees plus. So after a sweaty few days I enjoyed several great hikes around the cove. I recommend Cades Cove for camping and/or day visit.
