Really enjoyed ourselves, the wildlife in the campground are plentiful and lots of places to hike and ride bikes. The only criticism I would have is that the bathrooms are not maintained very well.

Our site was B67 in the generator loop. Was level with many deer and some turkeys wandering through the campground. Extremely shaded site, so solar panels were not effective. We stayed 6 days and enjoyed traveling the Cades Cove Loop multiple times everyday except Wednesday (non-motorized vehicle day). Lots of bears and deer.

Springtime camping in Cades Cove is my favorite time to be in the Smokies. Place to be if you enjoy flowers and wildlife

Very crowded campground in the summer. Great location to cafes cove and perfect starting point for Wednesday bike ride around the loop. Constant generator noise in loop B as there are no electrical hookups.

next time you do road work in the cove do it in the spring we got there day before rrd opened, which was fine but then they continued to do parking lot and and rd up to the entrance to campground..was in everyones way..makes more sense to do in off season, other then that it was fun

The best thing we like about Cades Cove is the friendliness of the campers. The campsites are well maintained and there is a lot to do near the campground. The 11 mile loop around the Cove is closed to cars on Wednesday so it is a great time bike or hike it. There are trail heads located in several places near the campground for beginners or advanced hikers. After spending a week at Elkmont without a dumping station, I really appreciate the four stations located within the Camping Area.

Our site was spacious, clean and shaded with a nice paved driveway leading up to a gravel tent pad. Sites were pretty close together without much greenery between us and our neighbors. Very hot and humid during our stay in July, and we did see a few bear cubs along Cade's Cove loop road in the evening after taking in some gorgeous views of the mountains.

Not enough campsites for generators after November. To many campsites are now reserve after November. Return the rules where first come after November 1st and generators can be used in all of the campsites.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at Cades Cove. First time in the Smokey Mountain National Park and this campground was perfectly located to several hiking trails and beautiful scenery, especially the cades cove loop. I was able to spot several black bears while hiking a portion of the Appalachian trail. Also, the general store was really convenient and it allowed easy access for food, ice and souvenirs. I would definitely visit again.
