Concrete pad site with gravel/dirt living area. Sites are not deep, had to shimmy the truck to fit all four tires on concrete, even with a 20 camper! Generator area noisy (yeah, I get it), but wouldnt electric hookups actually reduce pollution by eliminating gasoline spills, exhaust, noise? Crowded. Went on bicycling day on a Wednesday (that was fun), car days were like driving in a city. Cades Cove should be tram, walk, or bike only like Shark Valley in Everglades NP to stop the nonsense traffic problem.

Need to give campers a placard with camp site on it so Park Rangers wont waste time stopping you for park parking pass. You can hang it on the rear view mirror.

I've been camping at cades cove for years.I stayed for 2 weeks. There was no soap in the bathrooms and the park rangers do not enforce the rules. For Example generators are supposed to be allowed from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.There were generators running up until 11:00 pm at night and no park rangers came around.

Know before you go and be prepared and you will not be disappointed. Arrive before dark and research the sites but this is an excellent experience. We can’t wait to go again.

Lots of flat sites. Our site B-58 had a trail to the bathroom. Bathrooms could use some TLC, dishwashing station was clogged. Great friendly staff, Cades Cove Loop in walking distance.

One of the Park Rangers was not doing his job properly. We were stuck in a bear jam for at least 45 minutes without moving at all. Ranger was allowing people to stop and get out of their vehicle's in the middle of the road, was not properly moving people along
