Spent 9 days camping at Cades Cove Campground for our annual fall camping vacation. Its was wonderful vacation as usual; just wished the weather would have been cooler. Cades Cove Campground is one of our favorites. I don't want to say too much good stuff about it because its hard enough now to be able to get a reservation for a campsite that will accommodate our 28ft 5th wheel [ha-ha]. Overall its great; with a dump station &, available fresh water tank filler in the campground. One thing on the downside is that it gets high gusty winds that can bring large branches down on your vehicles so that's something you have to watch out for.

We love the Cades Cove campground, especially on Wednesday nights after participating in bicycling the loop road when it is closed to vehicles. We also enjoy camping at Cades Cove and hiking on the many wonderful trails in the area. The campground is peaceful, well kept, and very pretty.

Great campground, great experience, we loved riding the loop on e-bikes.

Wonderful experience. Saw 8 bears in one day on the loop. So nice to be right next to it. Saw several turkeys in the campground. One foraged right under our window! Spacious sites but be careful. We had two we were not able to maneuver into because of rocks and trees.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cades Cove Campground. Stayed in section B with generator use. Biked all over the cove loop, picnicked and loved hiking the Abrams Fall trail (2.5 ml walk each way). Enjoyed seeing bears, deer and wild turkeys on this trip. Look forward to going back.

The campground at Cades Cove is very spacious and quiet. The walk and bicycle around the cove loop road was great on Wednesdays, a great way to see the beautiful cove without all the cars. I am very disappointed with the cove loop road traffic on the other days of the week, it needs to be limited some how. It appeared to be bumper to bumper all day, everyday!
