While I love this campground, this particular site is not one I would book again. It has no privacy and is directly beside the path to the restroom. But for me it was a last minute reservation, and at least I was in the most beautiful place I know!!

Wonderful, quiet, clean, safe, and just a few minute drive to the famous Cades Cove Loop. Roads are paved, so bring your kids bikes! No cell service, which is actually nice.

Awesome experience!! Wish there were more spots for tent campers where generator use is not permitted but still love Cades Cove

I made reservations at cades cove for 1 reason, to hike the trails and see the scenery around the loop. Only they said nothing about the loop being closed for repaving the whole week we were there. So it was a pretty bad time. The bathrooms are horrible and the firewood is outrageous! I will never get to see how cades cove really is because I will not be going back.

The campground and surrounding areas are absolutely gorgeous. The campsites are nice and large, the camp store is very nice and full of necessities, sundries and fun promotional items. There is also a little grill inside where you can order some simple food. The bathrooms are kinda gross and there are no showers. It must be difficult to keep bathrooms clean in such a busy campground. Also, the tent only spots are right next to rv sites so you are treated to everyone's generators all day and night. But, with all of that, Cades Cove is magical so I think the inconveniences are worth it.

Our usual campgrounds decided to close before thanksgiving this year, this was our first time staying at Cades Cove. It was definitely busy, maybe due to covid and lack of options for families or maybe due to being one of the only 2 campgrounds open. Sites were a little closer than we are used to but overall it was a good stay.

It was a great experience camping at the Cades Cove campsite, well organized. Very close to the trail and the scenic loop. The only minor complaint is that the firewood purchased was wet.

We have a annual family and friends camping trip to Cades Cove every year. Tent camping can be a challenge, and this year wasn't any different; but it's always fun. The weather was perfect, and we even got to experience a ranger tranquilizing and tagging a bear. The rangers were super helpful when we encountered a small problem, and the Loop Road never disappoints.

Been staying at Cades Cove for many years .Each year it gets worse, some of the volunteers are a pain in the backside, the rules are not applied equally.
