Its just so peaceful. I loved the natural setting. Camp sights are great size and have plenty of room. Fire pit and picnic table.

I was in the generator loop B for two nights. Left a day early - sites were very close and I did not like that on one side was a NuCamp and they kept their generator on all day even though at a distance and on the other side, my slide side, was a class C with a diesel motor. They ran their onboard Generator which belched diesel fumes in my direction for hours. I had to keep windows closed and the smell was terrible. So... if I want to do the bike loop again in the future I would stay outside of the park. I have solar etc and did not need to use my propane gas generator to keep things going. Next time I would stay in the non generator loop. Also,in the middle of the night the one night there the wind kicked up and the air streamer across from me - his fire flamed up in the middle of the night. This frightened me thinking of how dry it was in the park.

If you are camping at Cades Cove, we definitely recommend a walk or ride through the loop either early (EARLY) in the morning, or towards dusk. We saw much more wildlife at those times, including several bears in the morning (7:00 ish).PLEASE remember two things! Be courteous to those behind you and pull off if you are observing something! There are signs all oversaying this, but people seem to forget. Don't be those people.Second, if you do see bears, keep a respectful distance. You might think the cute cavorting cubs are all alone, but Mama is there and moves way faster than you! Again, I saw people who seemed to forget this.

Loved the campground!! The site was spacious for me and I felt extremely safe throughout my stay. Although cades cove is a very popular campsite, it still offered a quiet and secluded environment. The only small inconvenience was the distance to some good hikes. Many trails were only within driving distance.

The campsite we stayed at, B49, generator use, allowed was great. Wednesday, no vehicle day to ride the Cades Cove 11-mile loop is a must. It is beautiful and the history is interesting.

This is a great campground.. plenary of space and amenities.. as long as your ok with no hook ups, no internet and no cell service.. so for us it is like paradise..
