Nice site; quiet; clean restroom; walking distance to campground store. Accommodating staff at bike rental and checkout counter.

Friendly Rangers and staff always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. Cades Cove 11-mile loop is a must.... I did it by Car, bike and hiked many of the trails. I actually made better time on the bike and if you can I highly recommend it. Go early as the one-way road can really slow down with tourist stopping to take pictures and you are not able to pass in a car... ok to pass when on a bike. Wildlife is abundant and I saw many Turkeys, Bears, Fox, Eagles and Deer.

We enjoy camping in Cades Cove and riding around the Cove. We spend all day in the Cove looking for wildlife. The campgrounds are always clean and the entire staff is always helpful and nice.

Beautiful location in the Smoky Mountain National Park. Campsites are various sizes so be careful when choosing a site. A River runs along the side of B campsites. No water or electricity but a restroom is available. Check out the Cades Cove loop several times during the day and several restaurants are close in Townsend.

I wish that they had free standing grills for charcoal

Bathrooms were clean and our spot was a good size and well marked. The people around us were friendly and it was cool to see all the different camping setups. Only issue is that we had trouble modifying our reservation online. We had to change it in person but we did not know if we were charged or not until we left. It would have been better if we could have changed our reservation online and to know if we were refunded (we left a day early due to rain). Overall it was a great stay, but the website was not that helpful.
