Riding the loop was fun as we enjoyed seeing bears and cubs up close and personal! The camp was very nice!!

Going in the off season was nice. However, the campsites are way too close together. Will be sticking to other preferred campgrounds in the park.

We had a perfect campsite location and very easily accessible to cades cove loop road. We would suggest NPS to consider providing at least coin operated showers like other national park campgrounds as they had already flush toilets and water facility in this campground.

We had a great time playing music at the campsite and in front of the store with the Banjo Brothers. We had our annual Little Mountain Church House Tour as we do every October. Cades Cove is a great place to camp except for the occasional loud generator. Is there a limit on how loud a generator can be and is it enforced?

Overall, the campground is quiet and a nice place to camp, especially for the price. Have been here before, but noticed lack of maintenance in many facilities. The check-in station is only open 9-5 each day, even on weekends. The bathrooms at the main center are only open 9-5, forcing non-camping visitors into campground for bathroom availability. We camped in section B and the nearest bathroom for men had one urinal, one toilet, and no soap available at dispenser for several days. The mountain stone exterior on the main facility was missing stones in the front and rear, giving a rundown appearance. The dump stations are in a line making it difficult for three campers of any size to use simultaneously. The first dump location had water leaking from the base and the hose at the top broken off leaving this unusable. This should have been an easy fix. Bottom line, for $25 per night, nice campground, but again, it appears to be rundown and not properly maintained.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
