The tent camp site was easy to access and set up- very level with drive up parking. The bathrooms in the B section were surprisingly clean and well stocked. The camp store had everything you needed (or didn't know you needed). The bathrooms at the camp store were a mess and had run out of soap and toilet paper.

Beautiful campground. As we were in a tent, morning in mid October was quite chilly. Easy check in. Did a night hike with ranger on loop road, and was fantastic!

Sites are close together, and tent-only sites are very small. Even though the campground is open all year, they dont have the store open in off season, so we had to drive 20-30 minutes back into town to buy firewood. (We thought we wouldnt be allowed to bring in outside firewood as some parks dont allow it, and the website and Google both said the camp store would be open.) Grounds are maintained well; its a beautiful place, and everything is clean. As far as national park campgrounds weve seen, this was just average.

Outstanding campsites, clean well-maintained bathrooms, convenient camp store for firewood and other basics, beautiful setting and conveniently located to Cades Cove Loop and hiking trails.

Good visit and nice campground. NPS staff were rude and paranoid about COVID issues. Staying behind plexiglass walls and when they needed to assist me with a request they would only meet me outside. Would have liked to stay another night but sites were reserved and though there were unoccupied sites, I am guessing folks didn't cancel their reservations so they still showed as being unavailable.

Recommend bringing or renting a bike for the Cade Cove loop trail, every Wednesday they close the road down and open it up to the bike and pedestrian-only. A fun 11'sh mile trail that has some fun rolling hills with plenty of wildlife viewing.
