My son and i had a great time. Our campsite was clean and we had plenty of room. We will be going back again.

I LOVED how much this campground became a cycling village that was so family friendly and inviting for the Wednesday Cades cove bikeride. IT was truly one of the most scenic, lovely experiences of my life.

The campground itself is lovely and very well laid out. The tent sites are level with fine gravel and no rocks. The Cades Cove Loop is very close. The one thing that surprised us and that everyone should know before they stay here is that the bathhouses are not bathhouses at all. There are no showers on site, so unless you have a shower in your RV, you are limited to sink baths with only cold water.

No complaints. Just suggestions. I have camped at Cades Cove since 1960. It has morphed from actual CAMPING in tents and the occasional popup on a pickup to basically a KOA RV park, but I guess that is what most of the public wants. The generators are pretty quiet as compared to 10 years ago when my neighbor sounded like a Cat bulldozer. I got a tents-only spot; I wish there were more to choose from, clustered instead of scattered. It looks like the only ones are just because there isn't room for a bus. Give us purists our own neighborhood! Also maybe a length limit? Some monsters took the entire pad and parked a car sideways on the shoulder! But staff were as always super friendly; restroom clean, and the overall experience a big A+. WiFi at ampitheater was a welcome addition.

Cades cove is great. It's near some of the best trails in the park and not too too far from the rest. The camp store is cute as heck, you get first dibs on a spot in line through the overcrowded scenic loop, and the bathrooms are the cleanest in the park, I'd argue. Only complaint is that sometimes people ignore the quiet hours and keep running their generators, but that's not the park's fault. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

At this time of the year, the colors are excellent. Did not see as much wild life this time.

We had an amazing time at the Cades Cove campground. We only stayed for 3 days, as it was my very first camping experience. We loved everything about our time here. The location is perfect, all the places to walk and explore were so much fun. The campground itself offered just enough conveniences (flushing toilets, camp store) but also kept it super simple when it came to the camp lots so we could get the full effect of tent camping. Once it got dark out,the clear night sky was absolutely gorgeous, I've never seen so many stars before, that made it hard to go to sleep we didn't want to stop star gazing from the comfort of our camp lot. We bought firewood right from the camp store, everyone there was so nice and helpful. Overall we had an amazing time. It's a clean, nice campground. You're nearby other campers but surrounded by trees and nature, it's so nice. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

I had a great time at Cades Cove. The site was clean, grass around the edges and well spaced from others. I felt like I had my own spot in paradise. It was dry with a heavy downpour. Being right there to do an evening bike ride in the cove and then head out again in the early morning was great! I would hat to recommend it to anyone as that will probably result in a bigger crowd, so maybe I should say stay home and watch tv.

The parking for this site was on the side of the road. I had to move our vehicle multiple times for people to park campers across the street. The site must not be used often because most of it was overgrown. Aside from those things the experience at Cades Cove campground is always excellent. We enjoyed our 10 days of relaxing completely unplugged from the world. Lots of wildlife and beautiful views. Park Rangers are always helpful. Ice cream was delicious.

We had not camped at Cades Cove in 25 years. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit there. Staff and other campers were so friendly and helpful.

We did tent camping, and the site was clean and tidy. It had a large smooth area for our large tent and a good table and fire ring. No problem with nearby camper noise. The campground itself was only about one third capacity, which seemed odd for mid-summer, though it was mid-week. The restroom facility was satisfactory and relatively clean, but showing its age with only flush toilets and cold water wash basins. The small nearby stream beside the picnic area was nice. The souvenir shop/essentials/mini cafe was fine. The bike rental facility was convenient, had friendly staff, but not cheap. It's main function seemed to be to facilitate the two mornings that the loop road is closed except for bikes. The horse stables near the campground are a real asset. The one-hour horse ride at a walking pace through the woods was the highlight of our trip. We had two 7 year old girls, and it was their first ride, each with their own horse and only the guide at the front of our group of 7. They loved it. Our biggest disappointment was that there were no ranger-led programs at the campground while we were there. We had fond memories of night programs at the pavilion in earlier years. I suppose there's just not funding to provide this. The pavilion seems to be mostly for bike storage now. Overall, the campground was enjoyable and we'd do it again, but it seems to be suffering a bit and showing the difference with those national parks with an entrance fee.
