I love the campground. I drive the loop 2 times each day usually to see wildlife. Too old to ride my bike around the loop anymore. The leaves are so pretty mid October and mid May everything is getting green.

We were told we NEEDED to visit Cades Cove if going to the Smokey's and we are glad we did. The campsite itself was nothing real special - sites were pretty close to each other. We did have a fire pit and picnic table and a nice pad to park on. There was a store for necessary items (and ice cream!), rental bikes, an area to get on wifi if needed, beautiful area/stream to explore and horseback riding/11 mile Cades Cove driving loop. Plan on being off the grid for cellular service when there - which is a good thing! What a gorgeous area to spend time in!

Campground was clean and the sites are spaced reasonably far apart. Staff was friendly and helpful. 1st time to this park and enjoyed the wildlife loop, saw two bears, wild turkeys, and deer. Site B23 has a concrete pad, is level, and gets some sun during the day.

Very nice campground. Close proximity to the CC Loop. If you want to bicycle the loop be sure to be there on a Wednesday. A male turkey strutted his stuff in our campsite, an adult bear was eating grubs just 20 feet off of one of the campground roads. Plenty of deer in the area, and of course the building left behind by the residents of the Cove are quite interesting.

We had a very good experience camping in the B-Loop which allows day use of generators. The campground has back-in non-electric, non-water sites. As long as your rig is not too long it is a good place to be. We drove the scenic route around Cades-Cove three times and I biked it once. It is a little bit of a challenge to bike it with so much traffic and I would have liked it if the bike-only day on Wednesday occurred before May.We have a Senior Life Time Park pass and it was very upsetting to have to purchase a separate parking permit for the park when we have a park pass to all the National Parks. Please consider changing this for us who have purchased the National Park Pass.

Campground was beautiful. Site was great for our tent. The store was prepping to close for the season but still had most anything we would want... oh, the ice cream...a Cade's Cove must!
