Campground was great. Issues were for almost a week the Ranger office was never open. No patrols from Rangers all week. Fire rings in several sites are rusted out and need replaced. Bathhouse B was clean and maintenance staff did keep it maintained. However the back area bathhouses have.

Staff in the store were pretty rude and not helpful. We found out when we arrived that our reserved campsite had been switched to another area. Instead of a site with a little privacy, we were now in the middle of a busy spot. All in all, it was the most unwelcoming campground we've been to. On the plus side, the area is beautiful. The campground is affordable compared to other places in Townsend. But we left a day early.

Clean bathrooms, Clean campground, Excellent location, Great store (carries firewood, ice, food, clothing, snacks, ice cream, and has a grill) and bike rental option. NO problems encountered.

Beautiful National Park! Acceptable campground but beware of selecting a site in the generator loops.

Very nice campground, the staff was very helpful when changing sites and adding days.
Overall quite pleasant but rain from the remnants of hurricane Ida dumped a lot of water on the tent pad. But what made matters worse was that the floor of the tent pad was dish-shaped which directed water to the underside of the tent. The hand soap dispenser in the men's restroom was broken and only a dab of soap would dispense.
The campground staff was welcoming which helped calm the ill effects of the weather.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
