Great campsites for me and family in loop B at Cades Cove, right near Abrams Creek, the ranger office, and the camp store. We rented bikes and rode horses. We did the loop. Park staff very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Check-in was easy and friendly, bathroom was clean, fire ring in good order, site was as expected.Cons: they're not enforcing the "quiet hours" for generators... so I had to listen to them all night long. (I was tent camping).Neutral: gotta refill water in the bathroom sink or a long walk to the RV dump station. However, the bathroom sinks have tall faucets that make it easy.

We planned our trip to Cades Cove in during the week in early November to possibly avoid the high volume of visitors for the fall leaf change. That was a good choice. The campground was not so busy and the loop road was busy but not taking hours to complete. Cades cove is so spectacular no matter the season. So much fun to do the walks in and out of the Cove.

We enjoyed eight nights in this fairly primitive campground. No internet or cell service available here for Verizon. Store with minimal food items, Vending machines and ice was nearby. Bathrooms were clean and functional on our loop. There are no showers or potable water faucets for refilling tanks at the restrooms. There was an easily accessible potable water refill near the dump station. This campground is 9 miles to the nearest town of Townsend and is very close to the Cade’s Cove driving loop.

Always fun to camp at Cades Cove. This time there was louder music being played up until 10 which lessened the experience. But the campsite is clean, well maintained, and a great base from which to explore the park.

Living in Maryville and being about 20 miles from Cades Cove, it is an absolute blessing to live so close to such a beautiful place. I typically go just hike the look or different sections but last weekend my wife and I decided for a quick get-a-way camping trip in Cades Cove. Laying in our tent at 7:45am asleep, and here comes the dumpster garbage truck literally right through the middle of the campground emptying the large dumper garbage bins. Like really? Couldnt do that about 12:00 when everyone is checking/checked out? Just a little frustrating, but well of course be back.

Great location within the park. We only stayed one night so did not get a chance to walk around. Camp sites are close together but acceptable. There is variability in the pitch of the sites so leveling an RV may be a problem with some.
Staff was excellent.
Overall, I will stay there again when we have the opportunity.

Loved loved the car free Wed. We loved riding our bikes without cars on the road. Soooo much safer.
It would be helpful to have a seating area outside of camp store. It’s nice to have a place to sit while eating ice cream. 2 benches were not enough.

Very peaceful campground. Campsites are tight for backing into, there needs to be some improvement for backing up. Firewood @. $8+ a bundle is a.bit much too. Ice cream in store is awesome and the loop was fun.

I enjoyed the campground and facilities. Thought they were very well maintained. I was not very impressed with the lack of mask wearing from the employees in the stores around the park. I went to buy firewood in the store on the campground. Employees were not wearing masks and also not enforcing mask wearing inside the store.

A beautiful place to camp. Well taken care of. Store close by was helpful in many ways. The ranger station had excellent resources for us. We were able to go on several hikes that worked well for us, being older. Very nice and thoughtful staff. They also updated us on the best times to go on the circle drive and the best times to see animals. The only problem we had was with the length of our travel trailer (35 ft.) and getting into our site. Was a little difficult. This park was well managed and we loved it!

We stay here every summer and we love it. The campground is beautiful. The rangers are friendly and helpful. And we love the store!

Loved our stay. Friendly staff and neighbors alike. Appreciated the proximity to the camp store and the bathrooms. Liked that we were able to reserve specific sites with regards to things like shade, RV length, etc. Will definitely be back. Had a great time watching a momma bear with 3 cubs playing in the campground, near the dump station. Also saw so much wildlife along the loop trail. A family vacation full of memories. Campground is near Townsend, TN. Not that far from Gatlinburg either.
