Campground was very clean and the camp store was great. We will definitely camp there again.

Pros: Check-in was easy and friendly, bathroom was clean, fire ring in good order, site was as expected.Cons: they're not enforcing the "quiet hours" for generators... so I had to listen to them all night long. (I was tent camping).Neutral: gotta refill water in the bathroom sink or a long walk to the RV dump station. However, the bathroom sinks have tall faucets that make it easy.

We planned our trip to Cades Cove in during the week in early November to possibly avoid the high volume of visitors for the fall leaf change. That was a good choice. The campground was not so busy and the loop road was busy but not taking hours to complete. Cades cove is so spectacular no matter the season. So much fun to do the walks in and out of the Cove.

Great place to go and relax. Alot of nearby attractions. Going back in the fall.

We enjoyed eight nights in this fairly primitive campground. No internet or cell service available here for Verizon. Store with minimal food items, Vending machines and ice was nearby. Bathrooms were clean and functional on our loop. There are no showers or potable water faucets for refilling tanks at the restrooms. There was an easily accessible potable water refill near the dump station. This campground is 9 miles to the nearest town of Townsend and is very close to the Cade’s Cove driving loop.

Great location within the park. We only stayed one night so did not get a chance to walk around. Camp sites are close together but acceptable. There is variability in the pitch of the sites so leveling an RV may be a problem with some.
Staff was excellent.
Overall, I will stay there again when we have the opportunity.

Loved loved the car free Wed. We loved riding our bikes without cars on the road. Soooo much safer.
It would be helpful to have a seating area outside of camp store. It’s nice to have a place to sit while eating ice cream. 2 benches were not enough.

Very peaceful campground. Campsites are tight for backing into, there needs to be some improvement for backing up. Firewood @. $8+ a bundle is a.bit much too. Ice cream in store is awesome and the loop was fun.
