Cades Cove is a beautiful campground close enough to Gatlinburg to mix up nature with some TN culture but far enough away to know you left civilization behind

It would be great to have soap in the restrooms.

Large cement pad, clean and level, partly shaded site. Bathrooms small but clean. So convenient to ride bike from campground to the Cades cove loop. So many bears on the loop road but none at the campground. Would definitely stay there again.

Cades Cove campground in in a beautiful place BUT it is NOT taken care of at all. The bathrooms are not cleaned daily They stop in to look BUT never clean. I stay 6 days and every day the bathroom smelled. They never clean campsites ever just drive by to make sure the camper has left. Its not like they don't have the help there are park workers driving all over the park NOT Working. Tried to get water at dump station and both outlets BROKEN YOU CANT FIX A BROKEN SHUTOFF BY JUST DRIVING BY IN YOUR TRUCK. I camped at Cades cove 2 years ago and it has not changed STILL the same am I to assume that Federal workers don't run the campground the same way State Parks do because state parks are much better.

The camping was fine Ive been coming for 20 years.the decision to close the campground 0n March 27 was bad, I had a week more reservation. You really inconvenienced the campers you kicked out.

Far too expensive for that price. Not a single shower in the whole Park, the Bathhouses were extremely dirty and not enough for the whole campground and the prices in the local store are outrageous! Don't buy your souvenirs there, the exact same things are in some cases half the price (And sold Non-Profit!) in the official Visitor Centers! The campsite itself is finde but a bit small. Also, you are basically tent-to-tent with the campsite next to you. The park itself is gorgeous, it would be awesome if they would implement some kind of shuttle bus so the traffic inside the park could be reduced.

Camping at Cades Cove is great, but the camp store was unpleasant. I have an exemption from wearing a mask due to my sincerely held religious beliefs. The cashier saw me and several others in the camp store without a mask, and left angrily, refusing to serve anyone. This is religious discrimination. I bought hundreds of dollars of Christmas gifts in Pigeon Forge instead.

Having the loop car free on Wednesdays is a great idea!

Definitely take the drive on the loop, Laurel Falls was beautiful but an exhausting hike. Clingman’s Dome was worth the drive!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
