Easy check in, quiet level spot close to restroom and water spigot. Campground just outside scenic drive.

Always a fun time staying at Cades Cove Campground. The restrooms near C-19 were NASTY! The odor in the restroom is beyond disgusting. A short way down the road in the group campground the restrooms were clean and even had hand soap. The park needs to do a lot of work on the restrooms.

This is a beautiful area and a great campground. Easy access to anything you'd want to do in Cade's Cove, great little visitors center/store at the front of the camp ground and very well maintained. The parks staff was friendly and helpful when we had a flat tire. Overall, great experience.

C19 is a nice level site but narrow. Couldn’t fit our 10’ pop up and our minivan next to each other so had just enough room for vehicle to go ahead of camper. Camper was placed with wheel’s directly in front of cement stopper. Site is right next to bathroom and water station but found that the men’s bathroom door would slam shut very loudly making it hard to sleep at night! Not very many bathrooms so the amount of people using this bathroom was very high. Made it very difficult to get sleep from the amount of noise. Neither men’s and women’s had a soap dispenser or a sanitizer dispenser but noticed that the bathrooms in the picnic area did. Thought that it would have been nice to have one or the other available. No mirror in either bathroom. The hours of ranger/registration office were very odd. 8:30-5. We travelled from Shenandoah NP and arrived at 5:45 and it was closed, so we had to rearrange our next morning of activities because we had to return to office and register & they allowed us 1 hour specifically between 9&10. Could not drive to any other areas so had to do hikes in the cades cove area. We did see deer and heard owls and coyotes at night.

Unfortunately due to weather we only stayed one night of our reservation however I love this park! The staff is so nice and welcoming. A few things I believe would be helpful is letting people know if they're inside the "gate" or not. We drove the loop before sunset but was unsure if we would be stuck on the loop or what. I also originally booked the entire week at cades cove but because of the gate being locked at night and us wanting to do night activities I canceled all but two nights. This website was unclear about the gate location and if campers had a 2nd access point. I had to look over the campground map in order to figure out there's only one way in and out. I also heard you can not reserve the same spot for more than 3 nights so we went elsewhere for the remainder. It would have been extremely helpful to have sight photos prior to booking as our tent connects to our suv and we couldnt connect it because the pad is located so far away from the parking spot. I love the convenience of ice and firewood being available at the gift shop and that you have a honest policy for after hours, very helpful. Unfortunately this website lacks alot of important info for out of towers like us.
Beautiful area but Very crowded with sites close together. Recommend to stay far away from the restrooms as they are busy with people coming and going all the time.

Second time we camped here, love the generator free campground. Many great hiking trails in and around the park. Lot of wildlife sightings. Follow the rules, help protect the park.
Campground was great. Bicyclists have all day on Wednesday to ride the loop as well as 3 hours on Saturday morning.

We stayed in Cades Cove in both November and December. In November we stayed in C19 which was in the back of the campground. We loved that site. It was near bathroom and water spicket and very near the nature trail. Across from the site was just a wooded area where we saw many deer. In December the back area of the campground had been closed so we chose C29 which was also a nice campsite. It was a first for us at Cades Cove and we will return!!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
