Always love staying at Cades Cove. Lots of wildlife this trip on the campground and the loop.

We would love for our biking experience to be better:1) The loop road needs a wide biking shoulder.2) The closed Wednesdays should continue through the end of October.or create some more frequent, shorter times during the week.

A nice, clean campground. We boondocked in a camping trailer, 20' long trailer. We did need position the trailer toward the back of the parking slab so we could get the awning up due to a tree close to the spot, but that did give us just enough room to park a gen 3 Bronco across the slab in front of my F150 so it was all good. Woke up the first morning to wild turkeys wandering amongst the campsites! There are bathrooms with a utility sink outside, but no showers. Also a black tank disposal site and potable water. There is a good campstore with an area to sit in and get wifi. Cades Cove is about 20 min from Townsend, TN which is a nice, small town. Convenient to a few trailheads and the Cades Cove Loop. The only thing preventing a fifth star was that it was loud after quiet hours. I would camp there again.

Campsites are nice but bathrooms are poorly maintained.

The numerous delays caused by road maintenance ranging from 20 to 40 minutes, the considerable traffic in every direction and the crowding of unmasked people everywhere made this trip a one time deal for me. The only things that were worthwhile were the mist enshrouded fields in the morning. Absolutely stunning with color and mystery. Too bad the New Yorkers and Alabama drivers could only go 5 miles an hour.

Trip was excellent, though traffic was heavy. Definitely plan to stay near the Cades Cove area! The 1 mile nature loop off of the campground was beautiful.

Beautiful campground! This is a lovely setting with well kept sites and clean bathrooms. Our site was C59, and we had plenty of room to tie up the dogs and let them run around. Obviously, the major benefit is the proximity to Cades Cove. The loop is always busy (cars were lined up at the gate before it opened in the morning), but being close to your campsite allows you to take your time and forget about the travel itinerary. If you have any intention of driving the Cades Cove loop, then you should definitely stay at one of these sites!

Our stay was spectacular, as the park was starting to open for the season and more activity in and around the campground it would have been nice to see a ranger present and the office open.
