Thanks to all the staff and volunteers who worked to keep the park and campgrounds open during the Shut Down. I was able to take my friends who camped with me around the 11 mile loop at Cades Cove that they had been on only once many years ago and they found it to be beautiful. I carry a laminated National Geographic map with me everywhere I hike and they have a nice one of Cades Cove and Elkmont. We hiked the beautiful Middle Prong Trail along Lynn Prong Creek which is always beautiful.

The campground was nice, but the large number of very loud generators was very unfortunate (the other loop wasnt open at the time so generator use was allowed)

C52 was a great spot. There was a nice pathway to the bathroom, which was convenient. The bathroom toilets were clean, but the sink area was always a little dirty and the whole bathroom smelled pretty bad and there was quite a bit of mold all over the bathroom grout. The campground was well layed out, and the campsite areas were clean and the table and fire-ring were in good shape.

We love the ice cream in the afternoon. The group campsite was lovely for our large family. I do wish there were hand soap in the bathroom, though

Had a terrific time. Saw lots of bears, turkeys, and wildflowers on the loop. One day, we even had a turkey roaming the campground. The campground was as expected: sites fairly close together but in good shape. There was a LOT of poison ivy that needs to be killed. Bathrooms were clean, We were in the B loop, so it was pretty quiet. C loop had noisy generators running each time we walked through it. It was lovely being off-grid for several days. Truly enjoyed it.

Campsite next to us ran a old loud and more then 60 dB generator from 8am to 8pm. If you need that much of home convenience just stay home. Not much peace and quiet to the outdoors here

I had an excellent site with a first as a view! I even saw a bear! Rangers are friendly and helpful!

I love the outdoors and Cade's cove did not disappoint!!!!! We saw tons of bear cubs and the campgrounds were nice and quiet

Despite it being cold and rainy, we had a great time camping with our friends over the Mardi Gras break!

We were very unhappy with the bathroom situation.We feel that as campers if we are paying the bathroom should not be shared by visitors that are at the picnic area and cove.We understand that there was an emergency at the picnic are but this placed everyone at the campground bathrooms and we had to stand in line for usage of a restroom.

The campground at Caves Cove is beautiful. The sites are spacious and clean. Each site has a fire ring, picnic table on a cement slab, a place for a tent, and a cement base for a camper. Very nice campsite. The rangers at check in were polite. The store on site has everything you could need and the staff were friendly. I would definitely stay here again, if we travel again to the Smokys. Also, it is nice and close to Cades Cove loop!

We stayed in section C and found the sites had plenty of room between the camps. Our site was nice and level. The park employees were very nice when we checked in and the one time we had a question. Staying in Cades Cove makes it nice to explore the loop. We rode our ebikes and had a ball.

Wonderful and beautiful campground. We we in the no generator loop with big, quiet sites. Make no mistake, its boondocking. Well go back again and again!
