Was slightly difficult to locate this campsite but managed to after a few loops around and getting ahold of a campground map. Short walk to the restroom and to the camp store/ check-in area. Soap available in limited hours next to the camp store, but not supplied in campground restrooms. Located close to the cases cove loop, although beware of veering off the path (long one-way roads may lead you into Townsend, requiring quite the trek to get back into the park). Overall very nice experience with views of surrounding mountains

Great stay super amazing staff. Made memories I will never forget. Campsites are close but everyone was pleasant to be around. Enjoyed the loop seen a mom bear with her cubs.

We had such an amazing time. Beautiful campgrounds. Restrooms were really nice and clean! The little store in the campgrounds really came in handy for little things we forgot and needed as well as buying wood from so we didn’t have to drive anywhere.

As a long time camper at Cades Cove (approx. 45 years), I was a little disappointed in our experience this year. Perhaps it was just a bad time of the year to be there but it was crowded and we were only able to get single night reservations in the campground. The traffic on the loop road was terrible and it took almost 2 hours to complete it even without stopping at the settlement. Added to this, there was some repaving being done and that necessary maintenance also slowed traffic down. The campground had lots of campers with dogs that barked at everything that moved but luckily most of them were with RV campers and were inside at night.
We will probably try camping at a different time whenever we go again and maybe crowds and traffic will be better. I have always loved Cades Cove and will definitely give it another try.

I wouldn’t recommend this campground if you value privacy and quiet. Since it’s still winter, only one loop was open—C loop— where the sites are practically on top of each other. I don’t go camping so I can have lights on all night and people surrounding me. Why put the sites so close together? Next time I’ll go elsewhere.
