The campground was very nice. The campsites were clean and nice. I did not like that I had to pay for a parking pass on top of paying to camp

Nice campground, facilities were convenient, clean and easily accessible. Soap in the public bathroom would have been a nice-to-have. I arrived in the evening and checked myself in and had to find my own campsite, also checked myself out.

Cades Cove is amazing! So peaceful and beautiful! We made a morning trip around the loop and saw 27 different bear! Theres so much wildlife to enjoy. If hiking is your thing you wont be disappointed. Its a great place to disconnect! I would recommend it for families to go and reconnect. My family and friends have made precious memories we will never forget!

We love Cades Cove for its beauty but riding bikes around the loop is impossible. We know Wednesday is bike only day but for us working folks, Wednesday is not possible. The traffic is bumper to bumper for miles around the loop. People stop in the middle of the road and sit there indefinitely. There has to be someway to prevent people from doing that or make a bike lane for people who want to ride their bikes.

We loved our stay at Cade's Cove campground. We particularly liked that we could drive right out of the campground into the Cade's Code Loop drive to see wildlife, stop at historic sites, and hike to Abrams Falls.

Campground was crowded although everyone seemed to appreciate everyone's privacy. Only heard one generator (only lasted around 15 minutes) in use where it was supposed to be no generators. The weather was great and that fact probably contributed to the crowded trails, campground and traffic. Covid was another possible reason so many people were outside.

The previous night was spent at a campground in Cumberland Gap National Park, so my experience at Cades Cove was a little disappointing. Cades Cove was twice the cost but without shower facilities. From my campsite, three sites away from the restroom, I could hear the women's toilet flush every time it was used. The campsite has no privacy - very little foliage separating the sites. When late campers arrived at the far end of the campground, their vehicle headlights lit up my tent. On the plus side, they do have a bear-proof bin nearby to store food.

Stayed 2 nights around the August 19th Wednesday bicycle/hike day (no cars!). Campground was full but sites spaced enough to not feel cramped. We used our camper bathroom so we dont know condition of campground restrooms. Biked the loop Tuesday afternoon and cars were bumper to bumper. Chaotic at times. Biked again late Wednesday morning. Many bikes but no problem navigating loop. Rode again late Wednesday afternoon and often had the road to ourselves. Beautiful, quiet sunset on loop with no other people in sight. Wonderful experience. Being on bikes, and not crammed into cars, led to several casual conversations with other bikers. Definitely going to bike Wednesday again.
