Cades cove campground is an excellent place to camp if youre looking to get away. We like to camp semi primitive. We dont need power or water but like having a bathroom and this place was great. Lots of hiking trails and walking distance to the famous cafes cove loop.

Beautiful, quiet, family friendly campground. Staff very easy to work with. Turkeys visited our campsite I do wish there was hot water and heat in the restrooms. Nothing like cold porcelain in the morning or middle of the night.

As a 1st camping user, I feel comfortable here. Of course,as a 1st time visitor to GSMNP, camping is very good choice.

If you are arriving after office hours and need to reserve a campsite online, there is free wi-fi near the office. Follow the instructions posted on the wall outside the office.

Well run campground and clean restrooms given the amount of usage. Enjoyed having the option of choosing a generator free area.

Staff was not the friendliest or most helpful we met on our trip. The bathroom smelled terrible and lacked soap. The site itself was nice.

We have stayed in C section for over 40 years and never been disappointed until this year.
Weeds all grown up in sites. Fire aunts infested around tables and tent site
Reported it and nothing was ever done
Took care of it our self
We done the best we could to still enjoy our time and will be back

Wonderful campground. We loved it. The only thing that would make it better would be soap in the restrooms and shower options.

A "standard" National Park campground. The sites were not too close together. It is a busy campground. Minus one star for the restrooms being a little "grubby". I know they are high use due to the number of people; however, they could have been cleaner and the women's restroom could have been restocked with more soap after it had ran out.

We have been visiting National Parks for the last four decades. One of the positive changes that we have found are the National Parks that are utilizing good volunteers, mostly seniors, who then get a free RV space at a campground. Many work four hours a day, four or five days a week and it is treated like a job. The volunteers are somewhat knowledgeable (not like the Park Rangers that should be very familiar with the park and it's fauna and flora). I have seen them picking up litter and tidying up campgrounds, have seen them work in the store, hand out information at busier parks, etc. It also helps the parks who are don't have enough staff during the shoulder seasons. Over-worked staff makes for unorganized and grumpy staff.

I reserved the site on 11-10-2022…I was forced to reserve C Loop because B Loop was not open. When I arrived I was told I could not use my generator in C because B had opened April 9 (remember B was not available when I reserved 6 months in advance). The rules changed without my knowledge…when I reserved I was able to use my generator in C because B was unavailable, but when I arrived B had opened early. Unfair!

As always, campsites in very good condition, restrooms reasonably clean, and all facilities in good working condition. Check-in efficient. This is simply a well run campground!

My campsite was well maintained. Most, would appreciate the campgrounds close proximity to the Cades Cove Loop but Elkmont is a better bet being close to Gatlinburg and better hiking trails.

Absolutely beautiful. Campsite very well maintained. Would be perfect if there were a shower house. Camped close to bathroom. Will definitely return.

Park Ranger driving around told us to move one of our cars over because a tire was on a few blades of grass, still on gravel but on a few blades of grass! Ridiculous! Be consistent with everyone!!

First time Boon-docking in our new RVNOT PREPARED!! Be sure to bring/rent a bike and ride the loop on No car Wednesday. Several good hikes in the area too. Tube the river if warm enough.

We love to camp in Cades Cove. Plenty of shade and nice tent pad. Rangers are helpful and come by daily. Bathrooms are clean.
