Overall a quiet place with clean restrooms. Enjoyed the sound of the creek and that its away from the more crowded campgrounds. Seems well maintained. One thing I would keep an eye out for if you decide to hike the Abrams Creek Trail is to keep an eye out for tics! We only hiked about 2 miles in then decided to turn around and come back. (Since the scenery is the same) Found 2 tics on each of us, and when getting back to the campsite found one on my stomach. This was with layers and consciously checking and only staying on the trail. Other than that little scare, we really enjoyed our experience.

Love how secluded it was and we enjoy the quiet just listening to the creek in the background.

We had an awesome time at Abrams Creek! Even with a full campground over memorial day weekend, no one was terribly loud. The bathrooms were clean. Definitely don't skip making the trek to Abrams Creek! There are a lot of trails that intersect there so be careful to know what you're getting into. Looking forward to returning to the Smokies !

Few amenities and no service (which we knew ahead of time). The bathrooms were never cleaned and it would have been helpful if the trail map had distances on it.

This campground is a hidden gem. It's small, remote, and magical. The campground is right on Abram's Creek, and even if you don't have a campsite that is on the creek, there is really nice creek access just off the trailhead at the end of the loop. Come prepared to be isolated once you are there. Can confirm there is no cell phone service in the park and the ranger station is not staffed regularly. So I would highly recommend calling in advance if you have any questions. If we didn't live over 8 hours away, we would come every year for an unplugged retreat!

Beautiful setting. but campsites were much, much too close to each other. I would not go back there due to the lack of privacy.

A tranquil spot without too many other campsites. Venturing over near the ranger’s station after dark gives a breathtaking view of the stars and a picturesque sight of sunrise.

Loved hearing the creek from our site! The creek was cold and would of loved a shower option but knew that wasn't available there. We went with friends who picked the location. Our neighbors spotted a bear one evening by our tent while we were across atone friends site. That was a little nerve wrecking but it left quickly supposedly and we knew bears were in the area. Loved having no cell service (except in the bear was an issue)

Abrams Creek Campground is a very peaceful, quiet spot. The grounds are clean, and beautiful.
The only slight issues, that I had, was the one lane road into and out of the campground, and no signage letting me know , that what I thought was an improved path, was actually the road into the campground.
I would definitely stay here again, as it is on the quiet side of the Grest Smoky National Park.
