There should be a section away from all other campers for people who are going to run their generators all day long, weWe were in F44, great site, except the site next to us ran their generator off and on , but the site across the street ran hisall day long, if he was there or gone, he would leave it running, we wanted to hear the river, not his generator , also there should be a dog section, with the generators, barking dog, and running generators together. and then the rest ofus could enjoy the sounds of nature.

We stayed at site #F44.It was beautiful.The camp host was very friendly and knowledgeable.We will definitely return again.

Very spacious, and a lot less crowded and much quieter than Gatlingburg/ pigeon fork campgrounds where we stayed. River bank sites are very shaded while the sites in the loop middle have open space ( suitable for Starlink) . Wading in the river is fun and sitting at the bank is relaxing. Super close to mingos fall, horseback riding, mountain farm museum and visitor center (where we saw more than 20 elks at dusk)

Campground was in a great area. Bathrooms were not very clean but usable. Biggest problem with this campground is the management. They don't seem to want to enforce existing rules so they makeup rules on the fly, post signs about the new rule then go spend the entire day huddled in the office gossiping.

We were so lucky to get a reservation at the last minute. Beautiful park & campsite! So much wildlife to observe from afar!

This is the perfect spot in the middle of nature. Nice and quiet. Just what we needed after our visit to Pigeon Forge.

No complaints; gorgeous campground, helpful staff, clean. We even booked horse riding at the stables. I would have wanted a heads up, so I will leave it here for the next family....bring water tubes for the kiddos to play in the creek!

I have been camping at Smokemont many years. It is still a great place to be, I wouldn't change a thing, even if I could.

Right on the river, you can let it put you to sleep at night. Level paved pad was long and solid foundation for RV. My only complaint is that the upon exiting the front door the ground sloped down hill from the pad which made sitting or grilling difficult due to the slope.

On the second day of listening to two dogs bark in their RV FOR HOURS while the owners were gone, I reported the incident. If the folks driving around in government cars had not had their windows rolled up and had slowed down they would have heard the dogs barking on the first day, but instead the peace and quiet of my days was pretty much ruined while I stayed with my dog and kept him from disturbing others. I left on the next day - frustrated- so I don’t know if the incident was resolved or not.

This is a very nice and relaxing peaceful site. My complaint is the maintenance crew was very RUDE!!!! The maintenance boy with the glasses was mowing grass but mostly leaves and I ask him not to mow because we were fixing breakfast. After he left and we had our breakfast I blowed away all the leaves away from this site. This site was clean it didn't need anything else. So we left for a little while and when we came back, the maintenance boy came back and mowed anyway ,when there was no grass , no leaves. He got so close to my screened in room ,he hit 3 of my stakes, 1 bent when he ran over it , 1 he chopped off the top, and 1 the blade got it in the middle and thew it 15 ft into a dirt bank just missing our screen in room. The supervisor kept that stake to sh/ow maintenance department which look like a U. I don't think maintenance should mow around when campers are there. They should wait when they are empty. Campers should not have there RV'S covered in dust and beat up with the pea gravel the throws up. Maintenance doesn't have any respect for Campers property!!!!

Campsite(s) were great. Campground is beautiful in a shaded natural setting. Paved campsite drive was an added bonus. Staff were professional and polite.

We loved our campsite by the river and the close proximity to the visitors center. It also was cooler than Cades Cove. It also had some good hiking trails from the campground.

Nice campground - only stayed one night as there is no showers
