Crowded but pretty area. Cooler than in town. Nice Creek hiking

Beautiful campground. A little noisy in the early evening times with all the generators running but well worth it. Great opportunities for hiking, viewing elk and nature. Staff was very accommodating.

Really enjoyed the quiet and scenic surroundings and nice size lots. We sat out and had a campfire and really was able to reconnect.

Very nice campground! Very natural and just minutes from Cherokee,NC. The new boy reason I gave this a 4 star is because there is no Electric hookups. I found my rig could not last without running the generator most of the day Even with the generator my rig pulls so much amperage to keep my frig running that by morning my unit was almost dead.

Nice campground with limited to moderate spacing between campsites. Plenty of sites. Next time I would select campsite in loop that doesn't allow generator use; this was aggravating with noise in loop that does allow use. Campground easy to get to and access. Hiking available. Nice to be near stream. Enjoyed the area (except generator noise). Good price.

Worst place I've ever been. The people at the ranger station were right out of a Stephen King movie. All three talking at the same time and expecting you to be able to pick out each detai. They don't allow dogs anywhere on the trails it should have said that first I would have never came there. Honest to God those people are weird plus it's not really that spectacular at all. Any turn out on the Deer Creek Canyon in California is better. Anywhere on the Tennessee River. Anywhere is better than their it's a lot of hype. I left letting them keep my money and it was a bargain to just get away from there.
