Very awesome time with my group! There is no internet, but I h is what we look for when we want to spend time with close friends and family. There is a rangers office and staff in case of emergencies (very nice people). The only thing is, that you have to get your wood before they close (which I think it should be open longer, or have a form of paying with an app (because I didnt have cash) to drop on the after hours box. Other than that, WE WILL be coming back to this camp! A lot of green and wild life to enjoy. If need to, you can go down to town and take a walk, eat, etc A lot of water tubing, fishing areas.. Overall, if you like the outdoors and family time. THIS IS one of the best places to camp around

Love Smokemont. Checkin was easy and great! And I love our camping neighbors. Bathrooms clean and attended to - Toilet Paper always there (opps this stuff is now called "Bath Tissue"????? - go figure), and area is cleanThank you.

Beautiful Campground for tent campers as well as RVers. Facilities were clean and optimally located. The grounds are spectacular and the campsites have plenty of space. A great experience.

With a reservation, check in was a breeze. Even though late October, the campground was well maintained and patrolled. Been going there for about 60 years now, so I have seen the changes in the infrastructure. Nice pull through sites, trails are super nice, and the creek is still clean and natural.

Smokemont is a beautiful campground with large, shaded sites. Because of the amount of trees (and a few poorly placed boulders defining the campsite boundaries) it can be VERY difficult for large rigs to enter many of the sites that are technically long enough. We drive a 37ft Class A and had to back into our "pull through" because of the curve in the site, as boulders that had been placed so close to the driveway that it was impossible to make the curve in a big rig. But once settled it was fantastic, and a great location for visiting the park.
