Tried to adjust my reservation from the day I arrived. No cell service so no way to call 800 number and no one working check-in booth the help either. By the time I could call 800 number my request for reservation change or refund was denied. Not a great stay! Worst at national park to date.

We loved the location of the campground with nearby shopping, hiking, and activities. The campground easily accommodated our large tent without feeling crowded. Lots of campers but we did not feel too close.

This is a really nice, well-kept campground. It was nice and quiet at night and we could hear the creek from our site. Parking is easy as they have nice, flat concrete slabs for parking at each site, perfect for our camper van.

I had a great time staying at the Smokemont Campground. It is in a great location within the National Park so it is really easy to get to some great overlook points. One morning we woke up early and drove to the nearest overlook point to watch the sunrise, which was gorgeous! We also were able to easily get to the visitor center and walk along the river trail where we got to see some elk grazing in the field. Very Cool!! This campsite is perfect for tent campers. It is equipped with a picnic table, fire pit, and flat gravel that is perfect for setting up a tent. Overall, I would highly recommend this campground!

Nice quiet campground. Recommend the Chasteen Cascade trail. Beautiful!!

This is a quiet and accessible campground. Easy access back to US-441 butaffected by traffic noises. Love the sound of the river and fork nearby. Makes it easy to sleep. Clean bathrooms and grounds. Only camped two nights, but Id revisit.

Good site, just one site over from the restroom. Level tent pad. It did not rain, and I did not use the rain fly on my tent, but the morning dew dripped off the tall trees and my tent was wet like it had rained. Even though it was on the inside loop and not right next to the river, the sound of the water was loud and nice to fall asleep and wake up to.
