It was very nice to have the office staffed, thank you. since there is no cell service in the campground having staff is great.

We stayed here the Monday & Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It was not crowded and everything was clean & well cared for. I appreciated the bathrooms with flush toilets. They were never gross or smelly. The area is beautiful and despitherw being a road near by you rarelt heard raod noise. I would highly recommend staying at this site.

Very nice campground, big open sites with tall mature trees.

Great campsite. Some spots are a little tight for trailers but not impossible. Very clean overall and they were prepping to get more of the loop opened up when we were there. Awesome to be able to hike a half mile and fly fish, too.

Ended up staying 2 nights at the campground. Convenient access to Cherokee and the Smokies, bust very busy with longer term campers and RVs. The site was maintained but it is packed with campers, no evegtatipm between sites. Our site happened to be next to a litter bin- though clean, was unexpected. Bathrooms were clean and rangers helpful.

Fantastic campground! Stayed on the B-loop and sites were very flat and spacious. Like most campgrounds in the park you are close to your neighbors so dont expect too much privacy. Bathrooms were well maintained and very clean. Great location in the park with access to some great hiking trails. About 20 minute drive to newfound gap with no traffic and very close to Cherokee so if you need to pop into town for supplies its very convenient. Loved staying at Smokemont and will be back again!

We have camped in the Smokies for 40 years. Its a beautiful park with well kept spacious campsites. I would like to mention that we like the idea of all day biking in Cades Cove on Wednesdays.

Well-designed and well-equipped. Doesn't feel cramped or crowded due to thoughtful spacing between sites. There's access to a great trail system at the back of the campground, as well as river access for fly fishing.
